Corvette Order Process Guide

Welcome to our Comprehensive Corvette Order Process Guide. This guide is designed to walk you through every step of ordering your new Corvette, from placing your initial deposit to taking delivery of your dream car. We’ve compiled this information to ensure a transparent and enjoyable purchasing experience for all our valued customers.

Stingray Chevrolet reserves the right to change it’s policy regarding deposits, ordering, and purchasing at any time.

Dealer Fees

The following fees apply to every customer on every deal, without exception:

Dealer Fee: $999
Tag Agency Fee: $289.52

These fees are in addition to the MSRP, titling fees, and any applicable taxes.

Deposit Information

Deposit Amounts

Stingray: $500
- Additional deposit due at time of order placement if configured with the following options:
  - BV4 Personalized Plaque
  - R8C Museum Delivery
  - D30 Color Combination Override
E-Ray: $3,000
- For those already on the list with $500 in house, $2,500 will be due at the time order is placed for production
Z06: $3,000 Open to new deposits!
- $500 deposit to get on the list, $2,500 is due at the time order is placed for production.
ZR1: $5,000

These deposits secure your place on our waitlist for the respective Corvette model.

Refund Policy

Your deposit is fully refundable until your order is placed for production.
Once your order enters production, the deposit becomes non-refundable.
If you decide to cancel, we will verify your mailing address and send a refund check.
Refunds are only issued to the individual named on the original deposit receipt.

Placing a Deposit

Use our online DEPOSIT FORM, which accepts credit card payments only.
Your place in line is determined by the date of your deposit.
We allow only ONE DEPOSIT PER HOUSEHOLD on each model’s list.
Additional deposits may be placed only after your first order is in production.

Order Process

Ordering Cycles

We place Corvette orders twice per month.
Allocation quantities for each model vary with each cycle.
GM provides us allocation information about two weeks before each ordering period.

Constraints and Options

Specific option constraints, if any, are released 5 days before orders must be finalized.
Constraints can change monthly, affecting available colors, options, and packages.
We recommend scheduling an appointment with our Corvette Specialist to configure your car and discuss options before the ordering window opens.

Pricing Policy

All new Corvettes are sold at MSRP plus tax, title, and fees. Only Stingray’s are eligible for discounts at this time.
We do not charge over MSRP or add market adjustments for any new Corvette.
Pricing is subject to change by GM without notice. We do not offer price protection.

Vehicle Delivery

Shipping & Preparation

It typically takes about 2 days for your Corvette to arrive after shipping from the factory.
Upon arrival, we perform a comprehensive Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI).
We install all dealer-installed (LPO) accessories you’ve ordered.
Window tinting up to the legal limit is available for $199.

Requirements for Delivery

Buyer’s must have a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
All funds must be verified in-house before the car will be released.
The person whose name is on the order must be present for delivery, with rare exceptions for extraordinary circumstances (must be approved in advance).

Payment Options

Cash
- We accept cash, cashier’s checks, and personal checks.
- Make checks payable to “Stingray Chevrolet”.
- Additional verification may be required for certain payment methods.
Financing
- We work with various retail banks and credit unions to secure competitive financing terms.
- Loans should not be secured more than 30 days before vehicle delivery.
Leasing
- We offer leasing through multiple lenders.
- Lease programs and terms are set by lenders and change monthly.

Note: Your deposit will be applied to the final purchase as a down payment or partial payment.

Additional Information

We do not put dealer emblems on new Corvettes. A ‘Stingray Chevrolet’ license plate frame is the only dealer-specific item added.
We handle all tax and registration paperwork on your behalf.
Trade-ins must be evaluated for current market value at the time of contract. We cannot accept early trade-ins.

Restrictions

We do not sell or lease vehicles to the following:

Titled & registered in New Hampshire, Oregon, Montana, Alaska, or Delaware.
To anyone appearing on the General Motors Suspected Exporter/Reseller List.
To individuals who may not be permanent U.S. residents, may live or work outside the U.S., or may conduct business outside the U.S.
To brokers, wholesalers, or exporters.
