Deposits

Q1: How much is the deposit?
A1: $500 The deposit amount varies by model:

  • Stingray: $500
  • Eray: $3,000 (Due when order is placed for production)
  • Z06: $3,000 (Due when order is placed for production)
  • ZR1: $5,000 (Due for top 40 on list)

Q2: Is my deposit refundable?
A2: Deposits are fully refundable until your order is placed for production. After that, the deposit becomes non-refundable.

Q3: How can I place a deposit?
A3: You can place a deposit via credit card using our DEPOSIT FORM.

Q4: How is my place in line determined?
A4: Your place in line is determined by your deposit date.

Q5: Can I place multiple deposits?
A5: Due to high demand, only ONE DEPOSIT PER HOUSEHOLD is allowed on each list/model. Additional deposits may be placed only after the first order is placed for production.

List Transfers and Eligibility

Q6: Can I transfer or sell my place in line?
A6: No, you may not transfer or sell your place in line.

Q7: Can I transfer between different Corvette model lists?
A7: Transfers are permitted to lists that are still open for new deposits. However, the original deposit date is generally not retained. Specific rules apply to the ZR1 list transfer from the Future Variant list. Other exceptions may apply.

Q8: How does the ordering process work?
A8: We order Corvettes in two cycles per month. The allocation for each model varies each cycle. Order cycles have strict deadlines, and the constraints (limited availability options) vary from month to month.

Q9: When will I know about order constraints?
A9: We receive allocation information about two weeks before the ordering period. Specific option constraints, if any, are released 5 days before orders in that allocation period must be finalized.

Q10: Do I need to be #1 on the list to place my order?
A10: No, you do not need to be number 1 on the list. You just need to respond promptly when we contact you for the order cycle because of the limited time allotted by GM to set orders in the system. It’s recommended to schedule an appointment with the Corvette Specialist ahead of time to configure your car and get all questions about options and packages answered before the time crunch.

Q11: Will there be any price changes or market adjustments?
A11: Any price changes that occur while on the waitlist are out of our hands. We do not guarantee any pricing at the time of deposit. However, we will never add a “Market Adjustment” or “Dealer Addendum” to the selling price of your new Corvette.

Q12: How can I cancel my deposit and get a refund?
A12: You can cancel for a 100% refund by calling, emailing, or visiting the store. Most refunds will be issued via check, made out to the name on the original deposit receipt. More recent deposits will be credited back to the same card they were placed with, if possible.

Q13: What if I cancel and then decide to get back on the list?
A13: If you cancel and decide to get back on the list, you will not get your original spot in line. Your position will be dictated by the new deposit date.

Checking Your Status

Q14: How can I check my progress on the list?
A14: You can use our Lookup Tools to show your place in line on any one of the deposit lists using only your phone number. You can also call Stingray at 813-359-5000 (Press 2 for Sales) to inquire about your position.

Q15: How can I get help with my Corvette build?
A15: You can configure your build with Sean, the Corvette Specialist. This is by appointment only. Call or email your internet sales representative to schedule an appointment with Sean.

Order Tracking

Q16: How can I track my order once it’s submitted to the factory?
A16: Once your order has been submitted to the factory for production, your order number will be displayed on the “Orders @ Factory” page. This allows you to track its progress during the manufacturing stage.

Q17: Will my personal information be visible on the order tracking spreadsheet?
A17: No personal information is displayed on the “Orders @ Factory” spreadsheet. Your order will be trackable via an order number, not your personal details.

Q18: Can I still use the list lookup tool after my order is at the factory?
A18: No, your phone number will no longer be functional for list lookup after your order reaches the factory. At this point, you should use the order number on the “Orders @ Factory” page to track your Corvette’s progress.

Vehicle Shipping and Preparation

Q19: Will I be notified when my Corvette has shipped from the factory?
